Benefits of Kevlar
Kevlar v-belts are one of the strongest conventional v-belts on the market. These belts have been designed to hold up to the rigorous demands of applications such as mowers, snow blowers and many other heavy duty applications. Standard v-belts are corded with polyester and under high stress and shock load, can stretch. The kevlar, or aramid, cords are resistant to stretch. The Kevlar cords also allow the belt to maintain its flexibility and increase heat dissipation.
