SPA, SPB, & SPZ Sheaves

SPZ, SPA, SPB, and SPC are types of v-belts and sheaves used in various machines. The main differences among them are their sizes, uses, and benefits:

  • SPZ: Narrow belts (10mm wide, 8mm high) for light-duty tasks, like home appliances and power tools.
  • SPA: Medium belts (13mm wide, 10mm high) for applications like compressors, pumps, and generators.
  • SPB: Wider belts (17mm wide, 14mm high) for heavy-duty machinery and large agricultural equipment.
  • SPC: The widest belts (22mm wide, 18mm high) for very heavy-duty tasks, such as large compressors and mills.

V-belts are effective at transmitting high torque with minimal slipping, and they operate quietly and efficiently. Choosing the right v-belt and sheave is crucial for the best performance and durability of your machinery. Understanding the differences between SPZ, SPA, SPB, and SPC helps you pick the right belt and/or sheave for your needs.
