Purpose Specifically designed for rigorous applications, this double sided v-blet has heavy-duty belt construction that provides extraordinary strength, torque, and durability. This belts hex design allows it to maintain optimal sidewall contact, while remaining flexible enough for drives that require power transmission from both sides of the belt. Suitable for all applications requiring rotation and reversal on the drive shafts. Features The Hex belt design provides proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove for equal load distribution, uniform abrasion resistance, and increased durability .Flexible cords are strongly enforced into the body of the double angled v-belt resulting in equal load distribution and the absorption of flex fatigue and bending stress without additional belt wear. The nylon top and bottom wrap is constructed for longer service life, providing enhanced protection to the core of the belt from oil, dirt, and heat resulting in increased durablity and belt life. Advantages Double angle V-belts have the ability to drive multiple pullies. They are used on belt pulley systems that require a number of shafts to be driven at the same time. Applications Double angle v belts or hex v-belts are typically found on larger lawn mower decks and hay rakes. Double V belts can also replace the older versions of the round v belts.
